With an aim to ramp up healthcare capacity by imparting skill training to the youth, Punjab Skill Development Mission (PSDM) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences (BFUHS) to train at least 200 candidates

Additionally, a centre of excellence would also be established at the Health Skill Development Centre, Faridkot, in association with Baba Farid University of Health Sciences.

The MoU was signed by Amrit Singh, Mission Director, PSDM, and Dr Rajeev Sood, Vice Chancellor of the BFUHS on Wednesday in the presence of Aman Arora, Minister of Employment Generation, Skill Development and Training.
