The state government has invited applications from distinguished individuals with impeccable integrity, high calibre and administrative experience to fill the vacant post of the Chairman of the Punjab Public Service Commission, Patiala.

An official spokesperson said as per the eligibility criteria, the applicants must have held office for at least 10 years under the Government of India or the state government. Additionally, they should be less than 62 years of age.

Applicants can submit their bio-data to the Secretary Personnel, Government of Punjab. The deadline for submission of applications is 5 pm on March 15.

A search committee, headed by the Chief Secretary, will shortlist the names of eligible candidates. These names will then be considered by a high-powered committee chaired by the Chief Minister.
