Addressing a press conference, he said while advertising 58 posts of law officers, the government mentioned 12 per cent reservation for SC candidate, but there was no such mention for the OBC category. He said this was in violation of the Punjab Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes (Reservation in Services) Act, 2006, that provided for reservation of 25 per cent seats for SC and 12 per cent for OBC candidates in government jobs.
