In the first case, the police have seized 2.5 kg and Rs 40,500 drug money from Joga Singh (granthi), his wife Sharanjit Kaur and his brother Punjab Singh, all residents of Gagarmal village located just one kilometre from the border.
Preliminary probe revealed that Joga and Punjab had direct links with Pakistan-based drug traffickers and they used to get the contraband dropped via drones in the fields located on the backside of a gurdwara.
In the second case, cops arrested Dilbagh Singh, alias Judge, and Arshdeep Singh of Dalleke village and Samual Masih of Fatehgarh Churian with 5 kg of heroin. They were going from Maude to Dhanoe Khurd on a bike when they were intercepted by cops at Dhusi Bandh.
