Majithia is in seven-day custody at the Vigilance Bureau office in the Prevention of Corruption Act case after he was arrested from his home in Amritsar on Wednesday.

Apart from amassing wealth beyond his known sources of income while being a minister in 2009, he has been accused of laundering Rs 540 crore of drug money.
