Abohar farmer booked in minors’ drowning case

Abohar: A farmer has been booked in connection with the death of two minor boys who died of drowning recently. The Khuyiansarwer police on Sunday registered a case under Section 304 of the IPC. The police got an autopsy done of Harmandeep Singh and his classmate Mohit, who slipped into a reservoir constructed by the accused in his field. OC

Bathinda: Days after three female deer died mysteriously at Bir Talab zoo here, a team of the Akhil Bhartiya Jeev Raksha Bishnoi Sabha, Punjab, recently visited the zoo to take stock of the situation.
