Honey trap racket busted, 6 held

The Muktsar police on Saturday claimed to have busted a honey trap extortion racket by arresting six persons, including two women. “They would contact victims, trap them, record their videos, and then demand money,” said DSP (Investigation) Ramanpreet Singh Gill. Those arrested were Harjinder Singh of Chak Giljewala; Jasmail Singh of Sukhna Ablu; Bhola Singh of Assa Buttar; Gora Singh of Chak Bir Sarkar; Sandeep Kaur of Doda; and Manjeet Kaur of Assa Buttar.
