After more than a month of being without a posting, KK Yadav was on Friday appointed as Administrative Secretary of the Industries and Commerce and Investment Promotion department.

He is among three senior IAS officers who were issued new posting orders by the government. However, three other senior IAS officers, Gurkirat Kirpal Singh, Puneet Goyal, and Jitender Jorwal, have not been issued any posting orders.

The others transferred include DK Tiwari, who has been posted as Additional Chief Secretary of Transport and given charge of the Parliamentary Affairs department.

Varun Roojam has been appointed as Administrative Secretary of the Transport department.
