Ludhiana businessman, Lovely Jain was duped of Rs 5 lakh by Arshdeep Singh, who posed as the General Manager of Chandigarh Airport.

Singh initially contacted Jain for blood donation and later offered to sell smuggled gold at a lower price. After Jain paid Rs 5 lakh, Singh failed to deliver the gold and issued a cheque that later bounced. Singh refused to return the money, leading Jain to file a complaint.

A case has been registered against Singh under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), and police are conducting raids to arrest him.
