Punjab Government today promoted one IPS officer to the rank of ADGP and 10 officers to the rank of DIG.

Rakesh Aggarwal has been promoted as Additional Director General of Police (ADGP). The 10 officers promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) are Rajpal Singh, Harjeet Singh, J Elanchezhian, Dhruman H Nimbale, Patil Ketan Baliram, Alka Meena, Satinder Singh, Harmanbir Singh, Ashwani Kapurthala and Satwant Singh Gill.
