Ludhiana, February 23

A truck driver was burnt alive after his vehicle collided with another truck and caught fire, police said on Tuesday.

The accident occurred near Jagraon, about 40 km from here, on Monday night, they said.

The victim is yet to be identified, police said. PTI

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
