Farmer leaders on Tuesday announced that a jatha of 111 farmers would start their fast unto death from 2 pm on Wednesday.

The jatha will walk to the first police barricade at Dhabhi Gujran on the Khanauri border and start the hunger strike.

Giving details, farmer leader Abhimanyu Kohar said the protesting farmers had decided to hold the fast unto death to express solidarity with farmer leader Jagjit Dallewal.

He said farmers from all age groups would participate in the fast unto death.
