The CBI Court, Chandigarh, has sent Kirshanu Sharda, alleged aide of suspended DIG Harcharan Singh Bhullar, to judicial custody till November 20.Sharda was produced before the court after his remand period ended today.The court directed to conduct fresh medical examination of the accused after his counsel told the court that it seemed that the accused was having some problems while walking.

The counsel said when the accused was produced last before the court, he was walking fine.

On his request, the court ordered the CBI to conduct fresh medical examination of the accused and submit the report before the court. The CBI had arrested both Bhullar and Sharda on October 16 for seeking bribe from a complainant. As per the FIR, Bhullar was allegedly seeking illegal payments from the complainant through Sharda.
