Mangat Ram Pasla, General Secretary of the RMPI, said a movement would be launched in Punjab to take the issues concerning the border state to the ground level. For taking the movement to the grassroots, meetings would be held in every village to garner their support till September 8.

“The problem with the communists is that we lead struggles for the issues of the people, including farmers and labourers for long periods, but lag behind in making people politically aware about various issues and developments in the state or the country,” said Pasla. He said the AAP government led by Bhagwant Mann has failed at very front, be it law and order or corruption.
