A Mohali court has stayed the impugned order of a polygraph test of cops in a case pertaining to the interview of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi during police custody till the next date of hearing.

The court also issued a notice to the respondent/state for April 28, besides summoning the SHO for the date fixed.

It was contended that the consent for the test was taken under threat and coercion. Earlier, the court had ordered voluntary polygraph test of ASI Mukhtiar Singh, constables Simranjeet Singh, Harpreet Singh, Balwinder Singh, Satnam Singh, and Amritpal Singh, all posted at CIA Staff, Kharar.
