Harminder Singh of the Jalalabad road area told the police that he came into contact with Jagmohan Singh of Sector 11 in Chandigarh through Pawan Sharma of Faridkot. “Pawan said Jagmohan had connections with higher-ups and he could secure the DSP’s position for my son by helping him clear the PCS exam. I gave Rs 1 crore to Jagmohan in three instalments, but he neither secured that job for my son nor returned my money,” he said.
