A married man and his ‘paramour’ were found dead at a poultry farm in Morinda Sadar area, yesterday evening. It is apprehended that both died due to asphyxiation as a gas heater was found at the spot.

As per SHO Bhupinder Singh Dhillon, the deceased was identified as Rajkumar and the owner of the poultry farm was known to the woman. Yesterday evening, both reached the farm in morning and bolted the room from inside.

When Rajkumar, did not respond to phone calls by family members, his son reached the farm and broke the door to find both lying unconscious, said the SHO. The relatives took them to a local private nursing home, from where they were taken to the PGI, Chandigarh, where doctors declared them brought dead, he said.
