Mann said Giani Raghbir Singh was a respected personality and this sort of mistreatment with him could not be tolerated.

The CM said the unfortunate incident had bruised the psyche of every Sikh and hurt their sentiments. He urged the Centre to take exemplary action against the erring employees of the airline so that it acted as a deterrent for others.

Giani Raghbir was slated to board a flight to the US from Delhi on Friday night.
