The Punjab Government today transferred the Managing Director of Markfed, Girish Dayalan. He is amongst the five IAS, one PCS and one IFS officer to be reshuffled.

Dayalan’s posting has come in the midst of the wheat procurement season. The charge of Good Governance and Information Technology Department has also been taken from him and given to Amit Talwar.

Kumar Amit, Special Principal Secretary to CM, has been given the additional charge of MD Markfed.

Basant Garg, Secretary, Agriculture, has been given the additional charge of Nodal Officer of Anti Drug Campaign. Till now, this charge was held by Rahul Tiwari.

Meanwhile, IFS officer Churchil Kumar has been replaced by another IFS officer Kalpana K in the School Education Department. PCS officer GS Sodhi has been posted Director, School Education Secondary, after his repatriation from the Chandigarh Administration.
