While night temperatures were normal to slightly above normal across the state, the day temperature was up to 7.6 degrees below normal, with the departure being the highest in Patiala.

The highest maximum temperature recorded in the state was 23.3°C at Pathankot, while the lowest minimum temperature was 6.1°C at Fatehgarh Sahib, according to IMD on Monday.

Three western disturbances in quick succession are likely to affect northwest India during the next one week. Under the influence of these systems, light to moderate fairly widespread to widespread rainfall and snowfall is very likely over Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh and HP during the next seven days, IMD said.
