Mock drills were also conducted at the Indian Oil Depot and Government Ranbir College in Sangrur. During the 30-minute drills, participants from various departments were told about the measures to be taken during air attacks and other emergency situations.

Blackout drills were also conducted at Guru Nanak Colony and Bhan Singh Colony in Faridkot; Old Grain Market, Shastri Market, Gurdwara Bazaar, Satta Bazaar and Main Bazaar in Kotkapura; and in the vicinity of Ram Lila Ground at Jaito.

Deputy Commissioner Poonamdeep Kaur said, “The objective was to educate residents about emergency response protocols during unforeseen disasters or incidents.”
