Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended birthday greetings to Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, wishing him a long and healthy life.

“Best wishes to Punjab CM Shri Bhagwant Mann Ji on his birthday. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life,” Modi said in a post on X.

A comedian-turned-politician, Mann became the chief minister on March 16, 2022.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
