Moga, February 13

A 72-year-old Moga farmer, who was taking part in the protest against the three farm laws, died after suffering a cardiac arrest at the Singhu border on the outskirts of Delhi, local officials said today.

The deceased has been identified as Hansa Singh of Said Mohammad village at Dharamkot. His associates said Hansa had gone to the Singhu border over two months ago. Eyewitnesses said after he collapsed on Thursday night, he was taken to a hospital in Sonepat district. However, he was declared brought dead by doctors. His body was cremated at his native village today. — TNS
