Slain Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala’s father Balkaur Singh has made an appeal to 13 MPs from the state to question the Union Home Minister during the ongoing parliamentary session about the VIP treatment given to gangsters lodged in jails. In his post, he is hinting at Lawrence Bishnoi.
In a post on his social media account, Balkaur Singh says: “A gangster, who has been declared a terrorist by central agencies and is currently in Delhi’s Tihar Jail, conspires the murder of my son. Despite that, he receives VIP treatment everywhere.”
Further, his post reads: “Over a year ago, he was giving illegal interviews from jail/police custody in Punjab. In the interview, he admits to conspiring against my son and threatens Salman Khan. Later, he was taken to Gujarat in connection with drug trafficking cases. He was kept safe in a jail there for a year.”
He says: “As a victim, I appeal to the representatives of Punjab to seek clarification from the country’s Home Ministry on this matter. In this country, our hardworking children are less safe than gangsters and goons. I hope that every parent like me is eagerly waiting for the answers to these questions.
Moosewala was killed by six shooters on May 29 in 2022.
