Chandigarh, August 1
Cabinet Minister Harjot Bains said on Thursday that Nangal would be beautified and its glory restored soon.
He said the city had lost its sheen due to neglect by previous regimes. Bains added that the AAP government would spend Rs 20 crore on development works. He said Rs 10 crore would be allocated to ensure supply of potable water. “While Rs 5 crore will be spent on Government Girls School at Nangal, Rs 4.50 crore will be used to construct a swimming pool at Government School for Boys,” he said. — TNS
