The contractual employees will also protest on the roads in Patiala with black flags in hands. Besides, they will also distribute pamphlets on how it is backtracking from the promises made to the NHM employees.

A leader of the NHM Employees Union said in the ensuing Lok Sabha elections they would also gherao the leaders of the ruling party.

He further said a Cabinet sub-committee had held some meetings with the union in Chandigarh, but it did not give any positive response with regard to its demand of regularisation of services.
