NIA raids 13 locations linked to gangsters Lawrence Bishnoi, Vishal Pachar

Pachar is a close aide of Bishnoi, who is currently lodged in a Gujarat jail.
According to police sources, the raided properties included the house of their aide Sahil, who is lodged in a jail. His family was questioned.
Houses of Pachar and his aide Shubham were also raided in Purani Abadi of Sriganganagar.
A source said the operation lasted till afternoon and the sleuths seized illegal weapons, narcotics, electronic equipment, documents and cash during the raids.
The raids were carried out as part of investigation into two cases related to organised crime and terror activities.
The central agency had been investigating the cases for the past over two months.
Sriganganagar Superintendent of Police (SP) Amrita Duhan said the NIA was assisted by 12 teams of the district police.
Independent sources said some suspects were also detained.
Lawrence Bishnoi is native of Abohar’s Dutaranwali village. Vishal Pachar belongs to Bolawali village in Sangria. He had later started living in Sriganganagar’s Purani Abadi.
