No difference between Pannun and Rahul Gandhi: Ravneet Bittu 

Union Minister of State for Railways and Food Processing, Ravneet Singh Bittu on Wednesday said that Rahul Gandhi’s statement on Sikhs was aimed at dividing the country and stoking Sikh passions, in pursuit of power.

Bittu also compared Gandhi to Khalistan supporter Gurpatwant Singh Pannu and said there was no difference left between the two.

He accused the Congress leader of making comments which were a nod to the narrative of the elements seeking referendum and those seeking asylum abroad.

“Rahul Gandhi has a habit of crying inside and outside the country. His relatives, friendships, studies, life is all abroad. Earlier, he gave statements on Muslims and OBCs. Now, he has added fuel to fire by saying things which people who seek referendum say,” the BJP leader said.

“I’ve been in the Congress party and have been close to Rahul Gandhi. Tickets were given to Sajjan Kumar and Jagdish Tytler, which we protested to get removed. Then Kamal Nath was put as Punjab in charge. During that time Capt Amarinder and all Congressmen opposed the move, to rub salts into people’s wounds,” said Bittu.

“I challenge Rahul Gandhi to show me a person who doesn’t have permission to tie the turban, wear kada, or to go to the gurdwara,” he added.
