Commissioner, Food and Drug Administration, Punjab, KS Pannu, today prohibited the distribution, supply and sale of food articles through Online Food Supply Aggregators (OFSAs) related to Food Business Operators (FBOs), who had not got their hygiene rating done.

The orders also prohibit the OFSAs from sourcing food from the FBOs, which are not hygienically rated and also where such rating is less than three out of five.

The prohibitory orders will be effective in the entire state of Punjab for the period of one year, with effect from April 30, 2020. — TNS
