The Punjab Government has delegated the powers of registration and renewal of documents to the regional authorities.

Transport Minister Laljit Singh Bhullar said the applicants could now get documents of their old vehicles and driving licences digitised online and then renew these.

He said, documents that did not meet the conditions of the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways would be processed according to the conditions laid down in the letter issued by the State Transport Commissioner’s office on May 24, 2024.
