Dhaliwal’s organisation has already conducted free cancer screening camps in 9,600 villages across Punjab, covering nearly 75 percent of the state’s total villages. These camps are set apart by their use of special buses equipped with state-of-the-art medical machinery worth crores of rupees, which travel to rural areas to provide free tests and check-ups to residents.

Currently, Dhaliwal’s team operates 12 such ultra-modern mobile units across North India. The camp in Wadala Bhittewad was organised in collaboration with Mehtab Singh Wadala, Preet Hospital, and Care Well Hospital.

The initiative has also inspired local families to build dispensaries and appoint doctors, further expanding healthcare access in the region. Speaking to journalists, Dhaliwal stressed the importance of cancer awareness and early detection.
