The Opposition today got the fresh ammunition to target the Congress following ED raids at several places, including those linked to a relative of CM Charanjit Singh Channi.

AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal said his party’s charges on illegal sand mining in Punjab getting political patronage stood vindicated. The SAD alleged the raids proved the CM himself was heading the sand mafia.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
