A 15-year-old boy belonging to Pakistan reportedly entered India after crossing the border fence in Sriganganagar recently.

Official sources said some locals noticed a stranger roaming in the fields on this side of fence in Chak 22MD village in Bahawalnagar district in West Punjab province. After confirming that he was Pakistan national, they informed officers of the 104 Bn BSF. A resident of Chak 96 village in West Punjab, Farhanclaimed he had entered into the Indian territory while grazing cattle. Farhan has been shifted to Sriganganagar for interrogation. — OC
