The SAD (Sanyukt) has also released its first list of 12 candidates. Those on the list include a former Member of Parliament, current and former MLAs and prominent sportspersons, social workers and those who actively participated in the farmers’ agitation.

In Malwa , Parminder Singh Dhindsa would contest from Lehragaga, where he is pitted against ex-CM Rajinder Kaur Bhattal (Congress). Others in the fray include Soma Singh Gharachon (Dirba), Harpreet Singh Garcha (Sahnewal), Paramjit Kaur Gulshan (Jaiton), Sant Sukhwinder Singh Tibba (Mehal Kalan), Jagtar Singh Rajeana (Baghapurana) and Sanmukh Singh Mokha (Sunam).

In Doaba, Sarwan Singh Phillaur (Phillaur), Manjit Singh Dasuha (Urmar Tanda), Jugrajpal Sahi (Sultanpur Lodhi) have been fielded, while in Majha, Daljit Singh Gill (Khemkaran) and Master Johar Singh (Qadian) are in the fray.
