On December 23, three petrol pumps located along the Fazilka-Ferozepur road were targeted by burglars within a few hours, leading to the theft of Rs 42,000 in cash, mobile phones, and CCTV equipment from Josan Motors, Khurana HP Centre, and Baba Budha Filling Station.

Despite an FIR being filed against unidentified individuals, the police have yet to make any arrests. In response, the Petroleum Dealers Association held a meeting in Jalalabad to address the concerns.

Following the meeting, DSP Jalalabad Jatinder Singh and SHO Sachin Kumar assured the dealers that the police were reviewing nearby CCTV footage and were committed to apprehending the culprits soon.
