The disappearance of a 21-year-old Army jawan has kept the police and Army puzzled. Belonging to Siddipet district of Telangana, jawan B Sai Kiran Reddy was scheduled to rejoin his regiment in Faridkot on December 6. Neither he reported for duty, nor he returned to his home.

After registering a ‘Zero FIR’, the case was transferred to the Delhi Army Police. A joint team of the Army started a search operation, but it has so far not been able to trace him.

Since December 6, the jawan has not been reachable on his mobile phone.

As money is being withdrawn from his account via an ATM card, the police are keeping an eye on ATMs, but without success. — TNS
