Chabal police have traced the two-year-old boy, Ekamdeep Singh, who was abducted under mysterious circumstances from outside Gurdwara Bir Baba Budha Sahib, Thatha, on September 24. The boy has been handed over to his parents on Saturday.

The police has also arrested the accused who abducted the boy. The accused have been identified as Chhatarpal Singh and Manjit Kaur, residents of Amarkot (Bhikhiwind).

Tarn Taran DSP Kamalmeet Singh said the boy’s parents — Rosham and Jyoti of Makbulpur — were installing their stall outside the gurdwara when the boy was abducted. The DSP said a case was registered on September 24.
