Some unidentified Khalistan supporters reportedly “put up a flag and inscribed a slogan” on a government building at Sangrur’s Satauj village — Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann’s native place.

When contacted, Sagrur Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Sartaj Singh Chahal said he had received a purported video of the incident, which is being verified by the police.

All angles were being investigated regarding the matter, he added.

The SSP said necessary legal action would be taken after probing the matter.
