Mansa MLA Nazar Singh Manshahia faced opposition from activists of various farm unions when he reached Khiali Kalan village in the district on Sunday.

As the MLA reached the village, the farmers started raising slogans against him due to which Manshahia returned from the village.

The protest was organised on the call of the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha by members of the BKU (Dakaunda) and other unions on the pretext of their decision of not allowing politicians enter villages.

Manshahia said he was invited by the panchayat but some people objected to his visit and instead of getting into an argument, he went back.
