The cabinet meeting scheduled for 4 PM today has been cancelled. While no official reason has been given for the cancellation, it is learnt that Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann remains indisposed due to a high-grade fever.

The Cabinet meeting had been convened to discuss the relief and rescue operations in the flood ravaged state, which has witnessed 43 deaths and 15 per cent of area of the state is affected.

Punjab had declared itself as a disaster-hit state earlier this week.
