Sergeant Vatandeep Singh of NCC’s No. 2 Remount and Veterinary Squadron, Bathinda, has bagged the Director General Remount and Veterinary Services Trophy at the annual horse show held as part of the Republic Day camp in Delhi Cantonment.

Sixty cadets, including girls, from all NCC directorates across the country participated in the road show this year. Several events and competitions were organised during the show.

The National Cadet Corps presently has 20 riding units with 294 horses, providing year-round training to cadets in equestrian activities. NCC cadets have also won numerous national-level competitions.
