The development was confirmed by Jagjit Singh Dallewal, the convener of the Samyukt Kisan Morcha (Non-Political).

The last meeting was held at the same venue on February 14. Dallewal has been holding a hunger strike since November 26 to press the Centre for the acceptance of their demands.
