A couple hailing from Sayeed Wala village and currently living in Abohar's Gobind Nagari, reportedly consumed insecticide. Civil Hospital sources said Dayal Chand (35) and his wife Ekta (30) were brought to the hospital by their relatives. Chand claimed his relatives used to beat him up often due to family disputes. He said he consumed insecticide as he was hurt over not being allowed to enter their ancestral house.
