A 61-year-old farmer was found murdered near new bus stand at the Tikri-Bahadurgarh border on Thursday evening.

The deceased has been identified as Hakam Singh of Patti Fuddu village in Bathinda district.

“Hakam’s body bearing injury marks on the neck inflicted by a sharp-edged weapon was recovered from a farm in the evening.
