Punjab Government promotes 11 IPS officers

The Punjab Government on Thursday promoted one IPS officer to the rank of ADGP and ten officers to the rank of DIG while six others have been given a higher pay scale subject to fulfilment of conditions.

Rakesh Aggarwal has been promoted as Additional Director-General of Police (ADGP). Ten promoted to the rank of Deputy Inspector of General (DIG) are Rajpal Singh, Harjeet Singh, J Elanchezhian, Dhruman H Nimbale, Patil Ketan Baliram, Alka Meena, Alka Meena, Satinder Singh, Harmanbir Singh, Ashwani Kapurthala and Satwant Singh Gill.

Six officers promoted to selection grade level 13 include Vivek Sheel Soni, Nanak Singh, Gaurav Garg, Deepak Hilori, Gurmeet Singh Chauhan and Naveen Soni.
