The industrial areas across the state would be transformed to attract investors, said Industry Minister Sanjeev Arora. “We are ushering in industrial revival of Punjab after hearing industry leaders. We are building a foundation where our industries can thrive without facing the hurdle of poor infrastructure,” he said.

The action follows a series of high-level meetings where industry representatives highlighted critical gaps in basic facilities. In response, the Punjab Development Commission (PDC) immediately deployed teams across various industrial zones. After extensive ground-level discussions with industry bodies and local administrations, a detailed upgrade plan was drafted.

The tendering process has started to repair infrastructure, the minister added.
