A 12-second clip of a man doing Olympic level pole-vault with a ladder and a cot has gone viral.

The video was shared by the Twitter page Fit Bharat with the caption: “Indian style Pole-vault… And this can happen only in village games of our Punjab. Note – Don’t try without proper coaching and supervision. #TuesdayMorning(sic)”

Major Surendra Poonia re-tweeted the clip, which is from a competition in a rural Punjab.

In the video, the man can be seen running towards the pole so that he could do a “desi style” pole vault.

However, if you look closely you will notice that the pole has been made by attaching a cot on top of a ladder, and it is taking three people to hold it together.

What left people stunned was the slow-motion part of the video.

The ‘jugaadu’ pole blew Twitter’s mind. Have a look at the comments.
