Punjabi singer and actor Parmish Verma on Friday introduced the world to his “better half” as he posted a congratulatory message for her on social media.

“So proud of my better half !!Congratulations, Guneet, on winning the @liberalca nomination! I’m looking forward to you becoming the next Member of Parliament For Mission-Matsqui-Fraser-Canyon in #Canada. I’m with you all the way. You Got this, babe,” he wrote alongside a photo of the two of them.

The Liberal Party has nominated Guneet Grewal as their candidate for Mission–Matsqui–Fraser Canyon.

“Liberals in Mission–Matsqui–Fraser Canyon have nominated Guneet Grewal as our Team Trudeau candidate. Congratulations, Guneet!,” the Liberal Party tweeted.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
