Raghav Chadha to introduce private Bill guaranteeing MSP to farmers

AAP member Raghav Chadha will move a Bill in the Rajya Sabha on Friday proposing to entitle every farmer the right to guaranteed Minimum Support Price (MSP) for his crops, agricultural produces or related matter.

The afternoon session of the Rajya Sabha has been marked for Private Members’ Legislative Business. Bills listed by members for introduction include the above-mentioned Bill to be presented by Chadha.

The Bill is titled: “The Minimum Support Price Guarantee Bill, 2022”. It is item number 12 in the list 23 Bills in total.

The Tribune, now published from Chandigarh, started publication on February 2, 1881, in Lahore (now in Pakistan). It was started by Sardar Dyal Singh Majithia, a public-spirited philanthropist, and is run by a trust comprising five eminent persons as trustees.
