The Punjab-Rajasthan border has been sealed by the Rajasthan Government, resulting in inconvenience to commuters.

No vehicles have reportedly been allowed to enter Rajasthan as the police have placed big cement slabs on Sadhuwali border in Rajasthan near Gumjal in Fazilka district.

Sources said roads at the Sadhuwali check-post, Patli check-post and Hindumal Kot with Fazilka had been sealed.

Local farmers are the worst sufferers as some of them living in Punjab have been holding land in Rajasthan and vice-versa, besides having relatives living in both sides.

Several patients daily visit Srigangangar district for treatment and emergency cases which are also allegedly being denied entry.
